Asking Angels for Help -FAQ

Do I have angels watching over me?

Yes! Every person was assigned angels and guides to assist them through their lives. They are always there for you. HOWEVER

They can't help until you ask them for help!

How do I ask angels for help?

It's a misconception that asking for help from other realms has to involve some kind ritualistic prayer or ceremony. You do not have to go to church or even consider yourself religious to ask your angels for guidance.

I always sit in quiet meditation when I ask my angels for help.

Tips for asking your angels for help:
  • Be specific in your intention, get clarity on what you are asking for.

  • Focus your energy, find a quiet, peaceful space such as a beautiful spot in nature. You may even want to create a sacred space in your home. Whatever resonates with you.

  • Express gratitude after you make your request. Gratitude has a very high vibration.

  • Specific prayers predesigned to communicate with your guardian angles or the Arch angels can be used if this is what resonates with you.

Will angles help every time you ask for it?

Yes! Angels will help every time you ask for it. This of course, doesn't mean that they will always do it the way that you are hoping for. Your angles can see the much bigger picture and will always give you the answer that you need.

What kinds of things can I ask my angels for help with?

Anything really, but particularly guidance, protection and healing.

You can ask for help with finding your purpose, and making moves that are in your highest and best good. But be open to the answer. For example, many people would like help with their money problems. But asking angels to help you make more money is not the way I would approach this issue. Instead I would ask them to help you make moves in your career to the path that you are passionate about.

Doing things that put you in a flow state will create abundance in your life if you have faith in your angels and the universe to guide you. When we are working just for money, we don't find fulfillment. Angels are here to help you towards your highest purpose.

I have asked my angels for help with many things. I can almost always say that the answers I receive are not the ones that I think I need. But I always come to see that they were. Many people are familiar with the following parable of a man stranded on a rooftop in a flood. While this story tends to have more religious variations, I believe that the message holds true. Angels will always answer your call, but the answer will come in divine timing.

The Drowning Man

A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help.

Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, “Jump in, I can save you.”

The stranded fellow shouted back, “No, it’s OK, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me.”

So the rowboat went on.

Then a motorboat came by. “The fellow in the motorboat shouted, “Jump in, I can save you.”

To this the stranded man said, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”

So the motorboat went on.

Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, “Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety.”

To this the stranded man again replied, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”

So the helicopter reluctantly flew away.

Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, “I had faith in you but you didn’t save me, you let me drown. I don’t understand why!”

To this God replied, “I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?”

How do I know if my angels are answering me?

  • Start to notice synchronicities in your life. Many people will resonate with "angel numbers" and if this is true for you you will received these signs. But it doesn't have to be numbers.

  • Trust your thoughts when you think they are giving you an answer. They will always move you in the direction of compassion, healing and the higher good.

  • Look for small signs of changes. This could be something as simple as suddenly having more courage and less fear when you think about the possibility of leaving a toxic work environment or an abusive relationship.
